Current Fundraiser
The Miami County Sertoma club is in the process of raising funds to purchase
an audiometer (a device that is used to test hearing) for the Louisburg School
District. Thanks to a generous contribution by Frankie's Salon we are well on
our way but we still need your help!
Meeting Information
The Miami County Sertoma club meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month
at the Louisburg City Hall - 5th and Peoria in Louisburg. Our meetings are open
to anyone interested in helping those in need in our community.
About Sertoma
- The Miami County Sertoma Club chartered on June 30, 2004.
- 100% of the money this club raises through fundraisers - stays in
Miami County!
- Sertoma was originally founded in Kansas City in, 1912. Sertoma is a 501(c)3
not-for-profit international organization dedicated to "SERvice TO MAnkind".
- The Sertoma Mission; Sertoma exists for the high and noble purpose of SERVICE
TO MANKIND by communication of thoughts, ideas and concepts to accelerate
human progress in health, education, freedom and democracy.
- Sertoma's primary service project is assisting the more than 50 million
people with speech, hearing and language disorders.
- Every year, Sertoma clubs raise more than $20 million for local community
service projects. Through these projects, as well as grants and scholarships,
Sertoma clubs return those funds to their respective communities - and they
have lots of fun doing it while building life-long friendships.
